Naruto: 
Naruto is aptly named after the main character. This story's main focus is debatable. To avoid previous arguments, I will say it is about his quest to become hokage (leader and protector) of the leaf village, Konoha. This story does have plenty of "filler" but all in all, it also has creates a sense of it's own world. Warning: this series is seriously adicting.
